• Create and present lessons that are congruent with students' educational needs.
• Provide communication to students and parents once or twice per week.
• Grade student work within 24-48 hours of being submitted and provide detailed feedback on all submitted assignments
• Establish rapport with students and parents
• Encourage students to maintain attendance and academic expectations
• Promote virtual classroom and tutoring participation
• Assist with administering standardized assessments
• Participate in professional development and department meetings
• Prioritize work and handle multiple tasks while working independently
• Embrace a culturally diverse environment
• Additional duties as needed

• Bachelor's degree in education with relevant specialization.
• Master’s degree preferred
• Proven teaching experience, ideally in a similar setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Outstanding verbal, non-verbal, and written skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate; must be in the process of acquiring certification; or must have 25 or more credits in the particular subject
