JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric and/or substance use disorder assessment and treatment to a variety of patients in multiple programattic settings.
- Provides both initial and ongoing psychiatric evaluation to patients.
- Provides psychiatric and/or substance use disorder treatment to patients.
- Coordinates care of patient with necessary resources.
- Documents all work as dictated by regulating agencies and insurance carriers.
- Educates others regarding psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues and treatment. Stays abreast of current trends in field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters degree in Social Work or Professional/Clinical Counseling from accredited institution.
- Current/Valid MD Licensure: LMSW (LCSW-C preferred), or LGPC (LCPC preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience, 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Current CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
