Mental Health Therapist (LPCC trainee)

Are you an LPCC candidate eager to start your career in outpatient mental health therapy? Beacon Therapy is seeking an LPCC candidate to provide outpatient mental health services at our Champlin location. This is an independent contract position which will include Board approved supervision towards licensure hours, office space, and much more. This LPCC trainee should be eager to learn about serving a variety of clients,particularly teens and children, those dealing with substance abuse concerns, and clients who wish to address spiritual concerns. This position will work with individuals, couples, and families.

What we provide:

• BBHT required supervision towards LPCC licensure.
• Referrals from a variety of sources.
• Comfortable office space.
• Weekly consultation with therapists from a variety of theoretical orientations.
• Medical billings services to submit claims.
• Credentialing assistance with various insurance companies.

Required qualifications:

• License eligible towards LPCC licensure.
• Completion of graduate school and practicum experience.
• Willingness to learn and work with children (ages 6+), clients with substance abuse concerns, and clients who wish to address spiritual concerns.

Preferred qualifications:

• Highly motivated.
• Ability to quickly establish relationships with clients.
• Experience with CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
• Experience working with children (ages 6+).
• Experience with individual sessions.

Supervision provided:

• Individual supervision included.
• Mentors are committed to providing top notch supervision for clinician development.
• Supervisors specialize in work with addiction, trauma, children, and frequently work from CBT and EMDR orientation.

Hours:

• Initially beginning part time with hours to be discussed, some evening hours required and some flexibility offered.
• Upon completion of LPCC this candidate may have the opportunity to fully join this group practice.

Compensation:

• This is an independent contract position, generous percentage offered, benefits are not available.
• Supervision included.
• Office space included.
• Medical billing services included.

Pay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hour
