ACTIVITIES PRO NEEDED! We are looking for a motivated and reliable recreation assistant to organize and carry out activity programs with our memory care residents! The recreation assistant will be responsible for helping to plan and execute activity programs, supervising and assisting participants, and ensuring that the facilities and equipment are clean and safe for use.

To be successful as a recreation assistant you should be able to devise engaging and enjoyable activities. An outstanding recreation assistant should have a lot of patience, a positive attitude, and be comfortable and passionate about working with the senior population.

SUCCESSFUL INCUMBENT MUST HAVE SENIOR LIVING ACTIVITY EXPERIENCE.

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Director of Memory Care in planning, scheduling and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of MEMORY CARE/DEMENTIA CARE residents and conducive to their physical, mental and social well-being. Help to ensure the activity programs are appropriately presented by staff. Provide backup to transportation staff by assisting with driving company vehicle when needed.

Schedule: Full Time 30-40 hours/week. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.

Payrate : $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. The actual pay offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
