Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• This role working for the US Family Health Plan within PacMed.
• This is an insurance plan that services military/ DOD patients.
• The Member Service Reps are on an auto distro for incoming calls to answer patient questions about
• their plans, bills, claims, benefits questions, etc. About 50-70 incoming calls/ follow up.
• Must be high customer service, professional
• Research plan benefits and inform members of coverage
• details
• Accurately record and track interactions with beneficiaries and providers Interact with members and
• providers to answer inquiries regarding benefits, referral or claims statuses
• Assist members and providers with our complaint and grievance process
• Guide beneficiaries through the appeals process Assist members with billing or appointment access issues

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Previous experience working in a call center environment
• Experience working in healthcare preferred
• Communicating with patients regarding follow up on claims status, eligibility, benefits, etc.
• Provide outstanding customer service
