Position: Medical Technologist - Chemistry

Department: Other clinical labs

Responsibilities:

• Enter test results in the laboratory information system accurately and promptly.
• Documents and calls all critical values to a Health Care provider.
• Performs laboratory testing with accuracy and precision specific to the assigned section for the treatment and diagnosis of diseases.
• Adheres to the clinical laboratory’s quality control policies in performing, resulting, troubleshooting, and documenting all quality control activities. Issues unable to be resolved are reported promptly to Supervisor, Manager or Director.
• Performs and documents preventative maintenance and troubleshooting records in order to maintain high quality laboratory service.

Requirement:

• One year of medical technologist experience is required.
• Medical technologist license is required issued by NY state

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Salary: $64.00 - $68.00 per hour

• Medical technologist - chemsitry: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• medical technologist issued by NY state (Required)
