Medical Records Coordinator – Part Time Position

Job Description

An Independent Medical Evaluation company is looking to fill a Part-Time position within our Medical
Records Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the handling of all medical records received within the office. Daily tasks consist of the following

• Printing incoming medical records from client emails
• Downloading medical records from client portals
• Scanning and linking medical records into operating system
• Collating - Organizing medical records for upcoming exam
• Assist with opening incoming mail / packages

This position will be a Part-Time position, 20 / 25 Hours per week. Must display the following skillset:

• Strong computers skills are required o Proficient in Microsoft Office o Comfortable with converting to PDF file o Scanning
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus and preferred
• Medical Record experiencing is preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, upbeat personality and attention to detail is a must
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Salary is based on experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a medical office preferred
