The Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate, innovative, high quality healthcare to the adult population of Gainesville and the surrounding communities of the Northeast Georgia region.

Stores and retrieves medical records for release purposes, transcription purposes, researches patient master files, maintains copy of charts, and performs routine clerical duties as assigned.
Stores, retrieves, and files medical records, and maintains contact with outside storage service for retrieval of stored records.- Sets up and maintains records in alphabetical or numerical order.
- Delivers and retrieves records to and from various departments and other locations as required.
- Responds to messages, and answers requests for records review.
- Files loose ancillary reports into patient charts.
- Utilizes computerized chart management system.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- Ability to file documents in alphabetical and numerical order
- One (1) year experience in clerical duties
- Good communications skills
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
- Basic data entry skills
- Knowledge of computerized deficiency systems
- One (1) year experience in medical records
