Job description

Seeking a friendly, energetic, organized, and detailed oriented person with excellent communication skills for an optometric practice in our San Leandro and Castro Valley office. Some tasks would include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering a multi-line phone, provide information, processing patient forms, entering patient data, verifying insurance eligibility, processing insurance claims, selecting frames for patients, ordering contact lenses/glasses for patients and other office functions.

Experience is helpful but we will train the right person. Long-term commitment preferred.

Good computer skills, 55 WPM minimum

Excellent phone skills

2+ years of college work

Non-smoking

Be able to show COVID19 vaccination identification

Available Saturdays

5 year minimum working in an office environment or in high-end sales

Bilingual skills are also a plus. Three or more years working in an optometrist office would also be helpful, but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
