Job description

We're looking for an experienced medical receptionist who is also an expert in holistic medicine to join our team. Our office is located in downtown Manhattan, close to public transportation and cafes. Candidates should love working with patients and helping them resolve any minor health issues and understand the importance of regular checkups. The successful candidate will be required to assist the primary care physician with a range of clinical, administrative and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient and office information is accurate in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Answer phones, greet and register patients, schedule appointments.
• Direct patients to appropriate personnel/facilities and answer questions.
• Organize and maintain medical office supplies.
• Provide first aid "as needed".
• Basic data entry.
• Keep patient files up to date.
• Order lab work or other tests as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
