We're looking for a reliable, friendly person who is fantastic with patients. The ideal Medical Receptionist has 1-2 years of experience in customer service ideally in a Medical office setting, is able to multi-task effectively and can thrive in a office setting. We have multiple locations located in Macomb, Rochester Hills and Troy and the position may require travel from time to time based on patient scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules Telehealth patient appointments
• Obtains and verifies patient demographic and financial information
• Completes requisitions and forms based on provider orders
• Collects payments/copays
• Close out/balance daily money collections
• Interacts with other departments to ensure teamwork, improve work flow and develop better patient customer service

What are we looking for in a candidate?

• High School graduate or equivalent. College coursework desirable.
• Previous experience as an Endoscopy Technician or Nurse Assistant is highly preferred
