Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients as soon as they enter. A friendly demeanor is a must.
  • Collect information from patient, including insurance information, money for copays and contact information to put into the company’s EMR system
  • Answer phones and direct calls to staff members or answer questions when appropriate. Message taking if necessary
  • Maintain medical record database to ensure patient information is kept up to date
  • Scanning and labeling documents into the company’s EMR system
  • Perform other clerical duties as needed, such photocopying and faxing information
  • Performing daily close of business and balancing the cash drawer
