The Medical Practice Director oversees the daily practice operations for the agencys outpatient clinics working collaboratively with Site Administrators from each site. This position will monitor the quality of services to patients, address patient complaints and, as a result, recommend and implement changes that would improve the delivery of services. Promote integrated care activities and be the lead that bridges medical services between two disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in the field with 2 years supervisory and/or program development experience in primary care and/or behavioral health setting.
  • Proven ability to make significant independent decisions on behalf of management.
  • Travel required to regularly visit other operations sites.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends on emergency basis.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service with a patient focus
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Demonstrable theoretical knowledge in the field.
  • Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint card and pass a background check.

Physical

  • Long periods of sitting, ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to operate phone, Fax, copier and a computer.
  • Able to operate Agency vehicle.

Qualifications Preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organization policies.
