Job description

This position requires past experience in a PT or similar setting. This position is responsible for meeting and greeting patients at a fast paces physical therapy clinic. We have been in practice for 25 years. We also run an aquatic therapy center. A smiling face and great personality is the top priority as this individual is the "face" of our practice. There are many insurance payers and many of them require preauthorization or ongoing authorizations for continued care. This required attention to detail. Will be calling insurance companies and using various software systems to verify patient eligibility and benefits. Must be able to understand a patient's benefits to clearly explain to patients or to answer questions. This individual will take copayments via credit card terminal. This individual is the liaison between the physical therapists and the physician offices. There are times this individual will be asked to obtain a patient report for continuation of care on the fly and within minutes. There are also general office duties such as ordering supplies, watering plants, organizing, etc. This is a fast-paced position. Multitasking is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
