Medical Office Manager

Southern Oregon Children's Clinic is seeking an Office Manager to join our amazing team. This is a great opportunity for those with management experience looking to grow their career in the medical field, or for those with experience looking for a great opportunity.

Job Title Medical Office Manager
Classification: Exempt—Salary or Hourly
Department Clinic Management
Reports to Executive Director
The office manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations by handling any situation that may arise. The office manager will be responsible for supervising and training staff and providers in company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions

· Oversee and perform reception duties and appointment scheduling.
· Train new employees on company policies and protocols.
· Encourage, support and address needs for all staff.
· Provide support and answer questions to patients as they arise.
· Verify employees time tracking and fix times in time card system as needed.
· Verify employees payroll and send to payroll for processing.
· Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to employees as needed.
· Perform performance reviews on employees.
· Be able to run data reports from electronic medical record.
· Manage financial dashboards.
· Track inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
· Address customer needs and provide conflict resolution.
· Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is a supervisory roll
Work Environment
May require travel to management office.
Physical Demands
This position requires long periods of sitting, some walking, standing, stooping and bending. May occasionally require lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
The hours of availability are typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00pm. The position will not exceed 40 hours per week.
Required Education and Experience
The following education and experience is required for this position:
· Two years managing two or more employees
· High school diploma or GED.
· Two years of customer service experience.
· Good computer skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
· Two years of medical office management experience managing 2 or more employees.
· Medical office reception experience preferred but not required.
· Health insurance experience preferred but not required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
