Position Summary: We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator who can initiate timely and accurate requisition orders to replenish inventory. This person would be responsible for maintaining accurate information within inventory systems. This individual has exceptional detail-oriented observation of all products shipped to customers and vendors while maintaining a clean and safe environment in the distribution and packaging departments for consistent workflow and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs inventory functions by receiving packages, checking invoice accuracy, and packing, sorting, and organizing inventory.
  • Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of the fleet vehicle(s).
  • Assisting with deliveries where required. (often van is provided)
  • Package, ship, and transport event and tech bundles to vaccine and testing sites
  • Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and prices, obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items, and obtaining approval from the requisitioning department.
  • Maintains and analyzes inventory transactions.
  • Receives reviews and prepares discrepancy reports for credits or returns.
  • Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers, and monitoring and expediting orders.
  • Resolves problems with appropriate personnel associated with inventory maintenance, such as stock discrepancies and inventory system issues.
  • Moves stock to appropriate locations, reviews order quantities, and verifies purchase order information.
  • Forwards available inventory items by verifying stock; schedules delivery.
  • Ensures that proper supply levels are maintained.
  • Maintains confidentiality and appropriate professionalism.
  • May contact vendors and suppliers for quotes, delivery instructions and follow-up on outstanding purchase orders.
  • Maintains files and records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries.
  • Excellent understanding of storage management procedures.
  • Performs related clerical duties.
  • May operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Inventory coordinator or a relevant quality assurance coordinator position

  • Knowledge of Inventory processes and best practices

  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • Ability to handle information and stay on task.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding projects

  • The ability to grow, motivate, and lead teams is essential

  • Self-managed priority setting in a highly dynamic environment.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Hours and days may vary depending on operational needs. Standard hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm with occasional weekend needs. There are frequent after-hours calls related to this type of contractual work.

Compensation: $62,480 Annually
