Promise Care NJ is a leading Home Health agency located in East Orange, NJ. We are dedicated to helping our patients achieve their optimal level of health in the comfort of their own homes.
The Position:
Billing specialists are responsible for compiling itemized home care bills, working closely with the Home Care intake and clinical office staff, and participating in performance improvement and CQI activities.
Responsibilities:
- Billing- compiling bills and submitting them to the proper insurance company/patients
- Collections- collecting unpaid claims, running AR reports
- Posting Cash- ensuring all remittance advice are posted to the correct invoices
- Month End Close- working with the appropriate departments to complete all month end tasks
- Documentation and Organization- documenting an audit trail of all tasks
- Other tasks as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
