Optimal balanced work schedule. Convenient location ! Palm Beach Dermatology is a Private Dermatology Practice seeking a dedicated, Dermatology Medical Assistant. This is a great position for a candidate who is searching for a caring team who delivers excellent patient care. Rewarding position where your medical assisting experience and knowledge would be appreciated by patients and your team. You would be working in one office with no travel between our other locations. Dermatology Medical Assisting experience preferred but not necessary.
Job Description subject but not limited to for this fast paced Dermatology office:
- Assist provider with patient care by obtaining history and chief complaint.
- EMR/EMA for electronic medical Records / Scribing in the EMR
- Assist with biopsies / surgical procedures and cosmetic procedures.
- Completion of pathology and lab requisition documents
- Pathology call backs and pathology logs
- Sterilization of instruments and surgical packs
- Triage phone calls.
- Front office duties when needed.
- Sterilizes instruments/make surgical packs for the next day
- Other
**MA certification is not required.**
Qualifications: To qualify you must:
Have Medical Assisting experience in an office setting.
§ Be a team player and work well with other
§ Be organized, efficient, and ethical
§ Be dependable, punctual, and professional, and fast paced
§ Be knowledgeable in medical terminology
§ Have the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
