Job Title: Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) - Accepting local and travel candidates.

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Salary: $800 - $1000/wk.

Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our medical team in High Point, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers in examination and treatment of patients

- Take and record patient vitals, medical history, and chief complaints

- Perform basic lab tests and diagnostic procedures including EKGs, urinalysis, and blood draws

- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies and equipment

- Administer injections, medications and other treatments as prescribed by the provider

- Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records

- Answer patient inquiries and provide education on medication, treatment, and procedures

- Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures as needed

- Handle various administrative duties including patient check-in and check-out, insurance verification, and billing and coding procedures.

Qualifications:

- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution

- Active CMA/RMA certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants

- Minimum of 1 years of experience working in a clinical setting

- Proficiency in medical terminology, medical office procedures, and electronic medical records

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare providers

- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work under pressure

- Strong problem solving and organizational skills

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
