We invite you to join our WISH Fresno Breast Center team as a Medical Assistant. This full-time career opportunity has a Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm schedule and is located at our outpatient practice in Fresno, CA. Our center provides vital services in a comfortable setting to the community. As a medical assistant you'll get to:

• Schedule procedures and assist with biopsy tracking results.
• Assist technologists with procedures as well as assist with patients and workflow.
• Maintain proper documentation, and complete all appropriate medical record documentation requirements.
• Accurately confirm intake questionnaire and patient history.
• Participate in meetings and/or various projects to support center operations and quality patient care.
• Assists technologists with the completion of exams and documentation.
• Provide patient care during and after breast biopsies.

We're looking for knowledgeable and professional candidates with a Medical Assistant certificate, and at least 1 year of recent work experience as a Medical Assistant, BLS or CPR for healthcare workers through the American Heart Association, Excellent customer service skills, a passion for patient care, computer skills, medical terminology knowledge, the ability to multi-task, a High School Diploma/GED, great communication skills, and the ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds are also a must! Experience working within a radiology office and bilingual skills are a plus!

Pay Range: $15.50 - $18.00 / hour
