Medical Assistant for a Growing Pain Practice
Neuro Pain Consultants, a large and growing pain management practice is seeking a team oriented medical assistant responsible for assisting physicians that provide pain management to adult chronic pain patients. The MA will work closely with our board certified and fellowship trained physicians and nurse practitioners.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Embraces our core values and works to achieve our mission statement
-Assists in providing quality patient care
-Comfortable working with an EMR to input health histories
-Accurate patient vitals and documentation
-Prepare patients for physical exam in a timely manner
-Follow all HIPAA,OSHA guidelines
-Positive, Kind, Respectful team player
-Fast-paced, multi-task oriented
Education:
-Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required
-Medical knowledge and schooling preferred
-EMR knowledge helpful, not necessary
*BLS certification helpful
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, competitive with market rates
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
