Medical Assistant with combination of patient care and administrative duties: full time

We are looking for a positive, professional, high energy, compassionate individual to work in our Burrillville location; with a mix of patient care & administrative responsibilities, including helping the physicians with in office minor surgical procedures & assisting front desk staff as needed. The majority of your responsibilities will be patient care.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Assisting in exam rooms

* Taking Vital Signs

* Preparing and Assisting with procedures

* Wound care as ordered by the physician

* Performing patient care as ordered by the physician

* Scribing and assisting with chart review

* Greeting patients

* Answering phones

* Checking in and out patients

* Collecting balances

* Insurance referrals and eligibility

* Light office cleaning

Must work well with others. Requires the ability to multi task.

Podiatry experience ideal but not required. Certified Medical assistant preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
