Title: Medical Assistant - II (Associate)
Location: Riverside, PA (NOT A REMOTE POSITION)
Duration: 7 Months

- Candidate must exhibit Professional Conduct, Accuracy in documentation, Attention to detail, and must be able to work independently taking responsibility for tasks without direct supervision.
- Candidate must have patient care experience, example: Drs Office, Hospital, Extended Care facility, Clinical studies.
Position Background:
- Client – is a bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Riverside, PA, with on-site Health Services clinic, providing medical surveillance and emergent/urgent care to our employees.
- The clinic is led by an on-site Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Responsibilities /Medical Surveillance Activities
- Schedule examinations
- Review Questionnaires
- Measure Vitals
- Electronic Surveillance Clearances
- Performance of Audiograms, Vision Screenings, ECGs
- Daily Equipment Calibration Checks
- Accurate Documentation including scanning records and entry into Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Vaccinations
- IM and SC injections – flu vaccines and others
- Documentation including scanning records and entry into EMR
Occupational Incident care/management
- Provide First Aid, coordinate care with other providers
- Schedule and Coordinate follow up visits with outside Healthcare providers
- Documentation of injury/illness, including Insurance reporting
Administrative
- Supply orders, tracking expiration dates
- Refill/Replace emergency medical supplies in emergency kits
- Print medical records when requested by employees
- Documentation and scanning of medical tests, HIPAA releases, etc. to electronic medical record
- Schedule and Coordinate shipment of equipment for annual calibrations
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
- Must have Red Cross or American Heart Association card as Healthcare Provider for CPR w/ AED.
- First Aid certification preferred
- One-year or greater of patient care experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record documentation, EKG, glucometers, injections, and phlebotomy preferred
- Must possess basic working knowledge of a computer
- Must possess professional communication skills.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
