Media Coordinator

Position Description

OVERVIEW

The Media Coordinator will help fulfill First & Calvary’s mission to make disciples by supporting the ministries of the church with excellent, cutting-edge media.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates for the Media Coordinator role have strong experience in media, sound production, and livestreaming. Graphic design, website editing, and social media experience is also helpful. Other qualifications include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Media Coordinator will be a thought partner for all pastors and program staff in matters related to media and will have responsibilities primarily revolving around media coordination and digital communications (including website, email, social media, livestreaming).

• ensuring all media technology throughout the building is up-to-date and in functioning order
• setting up media (sound, video, projection, livestreaming) for specific events and worship services
• overseeing the operation of all media during events (whether personally operating the equipment or supervising those who are)
• assisting the Director of Music and Worship with recruiting and training media volunteers and staff
• creating lyric and text slides and overlays for worship services and specific events
• attending staff and team meetings as needed
• cross training and assistance in use of digital communication
• other duties as assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a part-time, 20-hour a week, hourly position that includes paid time off and future opportunities for retirement savings. The Media Coordinator will report to the Director of Operations.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
