POSITION SUMMARY:

We have an immediate opening, with a $1000 signing bonus, for a Mechanical Assembler. In this position you will be mounting and installing component mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and structural parts to build machinery. Cross-training in other departments and performing tasks outside your primary function will give you the opportunity to learn additional skills. This is a 1st shift position, hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials and other verbal or written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Operate industry tools and equipment, including pneumatic tools, powered and non-powered equipment, machinery and cranes
• Follow all safety rules and lockout tagout procedures for tool and machine operation
• Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Mechanical ability
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other diagrams

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
