Title – Mechanic / Maintenance – 1st Shift

Location – Eddington, PA

Hours – Monday to Friday 6AM – 3:30PM, little to no overtime needed

Pay - $27/HR - $35/HR. Depending on experience.

Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a Mechanic / Maintenance Technician. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. This is a permanent opportunity, meaning you are directly hired by the company starting day 1.

***Must have experience doing maintenance within a manufacturing company

Responsibilities

- Supports the 1st shift production and operation teams

- Repairs equipment on a mechanical and electrical level

- Performs diagnoses and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment

- Reports and logs issues and repairs

- Works with 1st shift production team to monitor machines and stay ahead of issues

Experience

- Minimum of 2 years in a maintenance role, within a manufacturing environment

- Experience working with PLCs, hydraulics, gear motors, and more

- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics

- Computer skills including Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel

Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit, walk and/or stand for long periods of time

- Ability to lift, push, pull to 50 pounds
