Position Summary

The main objective of Lubrication Technician is to perform all lubrication activities to prevent failures and optimize lubrication cost. This position will receive a work vehicle that will be picked up and dropped off at our Medway, OH location.

Essential Functions

• Lube mobile equipment as per lube route/protocol
• Inspect mobile equipment during lubrication
• Maintain lube storage and handling room
• Properly dispose of used oil, prevent and clean spills and leaks
• Perform repair and any other work as required or directed
• Able to drive a commercial truck and comply with DOT standards

Work Environment

This job operates 100% of the time in an underground or surface mine setting. This role frequently operates heavy equipment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
