Mechanic / Entry-Level Valve Technician
Location: Swedesboro, NJ
Type of Employment: Full-time, Monday to Friday
We are seeking candidates who are good with hand tools and local to Swedesboro, NJ, who can learn our business. The ideal candidate is fresh out of the military or trade school as this role requires attention to detail and a quick learner. You will receive training from Sr. Mechanics. to join our team. You will learn how to maintain, repair, and install Fisher valves for our clients. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that Fisher valves operate efficiently and safely, helping to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance on Fisher valves, including inspection, cleaning, and replacement of parts, as needed.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Fisher valves and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Install new Fisher valves, ensuring they meet client requirements and specifications.
Provide on-site technical support to clients, answering questions and resolving issues.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure timely completion of all valve-related projects.
Requirements:
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
