Job description

We are a small family owned and operated USDA slaughter facility that offers our valuable butcher service to farmers from Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada. We service small farmers who sell halves of beef to individuals, and also process hundreds of head of lamb for a large chain of grocery stores in Portland and Seattle. You can find products processed by us in farmers markets, local stores, and personal freezers across the Northwest!

We're currently looking for 2 Meat Wrappers/Packagers to join our team!

Required Minimum Qualifications:
' 1 year of prior work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
' Knowledge of USDA regulations preferred but not required.

Job Duties:
' Processes and packages meat portion control cuts.
' Operates meat tenderizer and vacuum packager.
' Prepares, weighs, packages, and boxes meat products.
' Responsible for meat storage and cleaning and sanitizing meat room.
' Occasionally assists with meat grinding by loading and unloading grinder.
' Regularly lifts and moves packages and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
' Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
