Adecco Staffing is working with a company in Brattleboro, VT who is looking to hire additional Materials/Facilities Associates!

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records
Pay/Shift:
- 1st Shift - $18-$19/hr, 7am-3pm, Mon-Fri.
- 2nd Shift - $19-$21, 3pm-11pm, Mon-Fri
- Material receiving - maintains certs, paperwork, system transactions.
- Material issuance - coordinates with plant management when / where to issue materials to job, with paperwork.
- Assists with / Manages controlled / un-controlled materials project / relocation.
- Manages Chip Bins - on the shop floor and in 104B.
- Ownership of 104B - Materials, organization, cleanliness.
- Manages communication of, and transportation of scrap materials pickup and storage. Fork truck operation required.
- Light shop cleaning responsibilities - keeps floors as tidy as possible, assists with trash day, assist with keeping "stock prep" area clean, and any other applicable items / issues associated with cleanliness.
- Light shop maintenance responsibilities - work on coolant tank clean outs, and other applicable maintenance projects within feasible limitations.
- Sump maintenance - runs "Freddy Vac" as scheduled to filter machine coolants.
- Cross trains in the finishing area to support all aspects of finishing work as / if needed.
- Assists with maintaining VOSHA compliance when / where applicable, if at all.
- If / when time allows, starts learning basic machining operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- Basic Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and assembly.
- Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exposure to high production/output machinery and equipment, and constant noise in the production/plant environment.
- Must be able to avoid potentially moving objects which could cause injury
- Occasional use of stairs
- Consistent lifting: 2 - 20 lbs. necessary/ Max = 50 lbs
- Must be able to grasp and move objects consistently and regularly
- Must be able to reach, grasp, pull, push consistently
- Fine motor skills required
- All positions require the worker to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing data; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
