Job Summary:
The Missiles & Defense Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with a demonstrated track record of delivering outstanding supply chain performance that will support Strategic Strike programs.
You will be responsible for creating and leading the material program strategies and plans, driving efforts to achieve material sales goals, and delivering efficiencies to the Strategic Strike programs in Tucson, AZ. You will work with the program factories to support production requirements into executable plans with Supply Chain and our suppliers. You will leverage supply chain and production control experience while exhibiting collaborative leadership skills and the ability to influence and communicate effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Perform cost account management, managing budgets, earned value reporting.
- Managing suppliers to structured schedules in a matrixed environment.
- Responsible for written and oral communications
- Lead efforts, including budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar is required.
- Typically requires 8 years of progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance and/or Supplier Management is required.
- Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
- Master’s degree in business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar
- Current Secret Clearance
- Earned Value Management Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Power point)
- Communication experience (written, verbal and presentation), leadership experience, as well as IPT environment experience.
- Experience achieving organizational and program objectives, and interfacing with all levels of internal management, supplier management.
- Experience in high stress, fast paced environment of development.
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
