Job Title: Material Planner
Pay Rate: $40 to 45/Hr
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Bay Point, CA (This position is 100% on site)

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or Business Admin preferred
• 2+ years of related experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with emphasis on accuracy
• Able to develop and maintain strong cooperative working relationships within the group and across the organization
• Be a self-starter; ability to work independently as well as with other personnel and management
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience using an ERP system; SAP experience a plus
• APICS certification is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all raw material MOC between functions
• Track status of MOC status and provide stock level reports with estimated Day of Coverage
• Set raw material MOC priorities and coordinate production schedule with the planning team to meet required timelines
• Lead and/or participate in weekly status review meetings between Innovation, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Product Development, and Planning teams
• Coordinate any necessary special testing as part of the MOC for each individual material
• Participate in weekly raw material escalation reviews
• Help drive proactive activities to mitigate raw material supply risks

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
