About Our Company:

Hillside Electronics Corp. was established in Worthington MA in 1981 to repair and sell POS printers and equipment. We are a small but growing business located in the beautiful hilltowns, nestled in the foothills between Pittsfield and Northampton. We pride ourselves in operating a company that has a laid-back, family-like atmosphere, and a supportive and friendly staff.

Job Description:

We are seeking a diversified individual to perform a combination of general operational tasks.

Warehousing Responsibilities:

-Receive, identify, count and inspect inbound materials.

-Transport, place and manage parts in warehouse.

- Assist Sales/Warehouse Controller with product retrieval.

-Track inventory re-order levels.

-Prepare pallet loads for shipment.

-Load and offload trucks with forklift.

-Support repair and shipping personnel.

Repair Responsibilities:

-Troubleshoot analog or digital print devices to component level.

-Operate test equipment including scopes and multi-meters.

-Solder/rebuild etches.

-Thoroughly clean/test product to ensure quality and production requirements.

-Document repairs.

Shipping Responsibilities:

-Receive incoming orders.

-Inspect and identify product.

-Initiate work orders.

-Package finished product.

-Ship products and invoice utilizing carrier and HEC databases.

Qualifications:

-Strong organizational/accuracy skills.

-Observe and enforce safety procedures including proper lifting techniques.

-Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.

-Capable of operating forklift/tractor.

-Mechanical/Technical aptitude and dexterity to work with small components.

-High level of computer literacy.

-Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Assist in other areas of operation as needed.

-Self-motivator, able to work independently.

-Establish and maintain positive working relationships.
