Job Description:

• Coordinate and organize the flow of materials, from suppliers to manufacturing cell in Erie Plant.
• Plan material and work material/inventory projects.
• Manage WIP jobs for Erie shops for FLX Locomotive related assemblies.
• Track all material internal through the shops while also supporting production areas.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for material planning and inventory metrics across production area that is supported
• Monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modifications
• Work with all levels of personnel (hourly, supervisory, and general foreperson) in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage
• Manage kit material, expedite in material shortages from both suppliers internal and external.
• Keep up on inventory health metrics.
• Optimize inventory and process improvements, work inventory controllership and presentation projects.
• Manage a team of stock keepers to sustain material controllership and flow efficiency.
• Collaborate with others from the business unit.
• Present to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
