We are seeking a candidate who is professional, courteous and enjoys working with a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to join our team as a Material Handler.

How you matter:

The Material Handler position is a crucial contributor to the Distribution Center of SVM. In order to provide all of our customer accounts with quick turnaround and on-time delivery service, the DC group and sales group work closely together as a team. By becoming an integral part of our DC team, you will gain a comprehensive knowledge of our entire operations cycle. As part of a truly global company, the impact of the Material Handler’s work reaches far beyond the confines of Silicon Valley.

What you will do:

• Receive, pack and ship fragile silicon materials
• Pull products from inventory, prepare, set-up and load products into the cleanroom
• Maintain high standards and work steadily at an efficient pace appropriate to cleanroom environment
• Drive company vehicles to deliver or pick up materials from customers/vendors
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude
• Be approachable and willing to help all SVM employees and our customers and vendor
• Upkeep equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and orderly operating condition

Who you are:

• High school diploma, AA degree preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
• Valid Class C driver license with clean DMV record, must be able to pass background and vision test
• Forklift certification preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of Santa Clara and the greater bay area
• Must be detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Position Type: Full Time - Hourly
