Material Handler

Dalton, GA 30721

1st shift: Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:30am (plus overtime when required)

Creative Plastics, a division of Marketing Alliance Group, is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler. The Forklift Driver is responsible for moving goods from one place to another. The Operator needs to be extremely careful not to damage the goods and position them accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Load or unload goods within production areas/warehouse storage areas
• May also be responsible for inspecting the lifts before usage
• To maintain inventory, product counts, weigh and tag product
• May also use a handheld bar code scanner, inspect, and maintain equipment
• May need to wrap loads with a shrink wrapper and load goods on and off a truck
• Perform related duties as required by supervisor.

Physical Demands:

• Standing with walking is required for most of the shift
• Bending is required to reach product
• Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience
• Concentration
• Ability to follow directions
• Positive attitude & pleasant personality
• Utilize various equipment as needed to perform duties such as a tape dispenser, hand trucks, pallets jacks.
