As a Massage Therapist, Hospice the work you do every day makes a difference in the lives of our patients. Our Hospice team gives our patients the greatest gift - the ability to spend enhanced quality time with their loved ones in their preferred environment.
As a Massage Therapist , you will promote comfort for the patient by providing massage therapy and related services in their place of residence. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team that focuses on providing compassionate quality care to our patients.

HOW YOU'LL WORK:
You'll provide care by following order sets created for the patient. You will assist Hospice and Palliative Care team members in meeting the needs of the patient. As well as providing high standard of holistic care to patients.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Plan of Care: Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to identify needs that encompass the total well-being of the patients. Review patient's plan of care with Hospice team, physician and patient. Respond to referrals within established time frame per Hospice policy.
Communication: Communicate effectively with manager, other members of Hospice and Palliative Care Team, employees, contracted Massage Therapists and outside customers.
Policies: Document accurate and complete patient information in a timely manner per policies and procedures.
Teamwork: Attend Interdisciplinary team meetings and provide patient updates.
HARD & SOFT SKILLS:
Compassionate communicator with a positive attitude.
Patience is a virtue when working with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
Attention to detail is critical, as is being observant and following directions.
Demonstrates honesty; keeps commitments; behaves in a consistent manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
LMT licensed in the state of employment
Two years experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist
1 year of Hospice experience required
Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver
Capable of all physical demands
