Job description
The Marketing Manager – US West Region & Developing Markets plays a key role in fueling Ria’s business growth while optimizing efficiencies by effectively driving and/or supporting marketing plans and special projects end-to-end within marketing budgets. The role heavily interfaces with Sales, Revenue Management, Product and other departments to promote Ria's services and benefits to agents and end consumers.
- Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing plans and tactics that strengthen brand awareness, result to customer acquisition and retention, and/or help achieve set objectives/KPIs for assigned Divisions, Corridors, and Ria internal partners.
Lead and drive creative and messaging development, production, and delivery of marketing materials needed to execute proposed and approved marketing plans, tactics, and/or special projects.
Keep track of competitors and industry developments to consider them in the development of and/or to recommend improvements in proposed and approved marketing plans, tactics, and/or special projects.
Work closely with Ria global marketing teams to identify and leverage on cross-channel synergies.
Enforce and maintain Ria’s brand guidelines in the creation and production of marketing materials.
Manage marketing budgets and optimize marketing investments by always tracking, recording/documenting, and reporting in a timely manner, the effectiveness of marketing plans, tactics, and/or special projects as they relate to objectives, KPIs, and/or ROIs set.
Ensure the continuous and smooth workflow in the Marketing team and in Ria by always being a vested, solution-oriented, and can-do team player who communicates relevant information, keeps, and shares organized records of his/her marketing initiatives in a timely manner.
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
May require some travel (domestic and international) depending on business needs.
May require use of personal vehicle to occasionally visit agent locations in the greater Los Angeles area (mileage can be expensed).
Work hours to be Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm (may be subject to change depending on business needs).
This is currently a hybrid role that requires working from the Buena Park office at least three days per week with an option to work from home two days per week. This policy is subject to change at any time.
Qualifications
3+ years experience in Marketing, Communications, Business Management and/or related field.
Strong project management skills including organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Possess a self-starter approach, and a data-driven mindset, with strong initiative and sense of urgency that lends to minimum supervision
Highly motivated self-learner who proactively absorbs information
Has exceptional attention to detail with an eye for process and business improvement opportunities
Highly flexible with time/schedules – takes the initiative to go above and beyond to meet deadlines when necessary
Solution-oriented team player with a positive attitude
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills
Spanish proficiency (oral and written)
Ability to work collaboratively and independently on assigned projects
Proven ability to work on multiple projects and deliver on key deadlines
Light lifting, sitting for extended periods of time, some traveling when necessary
Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone, and peripherals
Pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role.
Benefits: Our package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, employee stock options, paid time off, HSA/FSA, short-term/long-term disability, tuition assistance, growth opportunities, and much more. Salary: The range in New York for this position is $70,000 - $110,000. Actual starting compensation may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, and skills.
