Position Summary:
The Marketing Associate assists with the overall development, implementation and execution of the marketing strategy for the association; connecting email, digital and print marketing, event collateral, membership materials, sponsorship, and website content. The Marketing Associate also assists with building member and sponsor relationships, using creative media and standard data analysis software (Excel, Google Analytics) to analyze campaign impact and to diversify and strengthen existing and developing partnerships. Additionally, the Marketing Associate pairs innovative marketing strategies with exceptional account management skills to enhance member engagement and increase non-dues revenue streams for the association.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES of the MARKETING ASSOCIATE:

- Serve as primary copywriter (75 percent) for marketing email and social media content, working with the communications team on review of content and assist as needed on writing and editing of marketing copy.
- Assist with development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for America’s Essential Hospitals’ in-person events, webinars, leadership development programs, and partnerships.
- Update the catalog of marketing brochures, e.g. sponsorship, Essential Learning Series and various program partners.
- Lead renewal process for existing corporate members and sponsors
- Secure new partners and spearhead the onboarding process, including securing signed agreements, creating database account and contact records, and producing invoices.
- Manage sponsor meeting logistics process and work with sponsors to ensure signed contracts, logos, descriptions, ads, videos, and other materials are received by deadlines.
- Manage database lists, format, and marketing calendar.
- Develop and provide metrics reporting for email and paid social campaigns.
- Assist in maintenance of four event mini-sites, including new content, speaker information, and agenda updates.
- Manage all elements of the mobile app in preparation for the annual VITAL conference.
- Oversee production schedule from design to print for the VITAL save-the-date promotional mailer. Includes working with external vendors, such as graphic designers and printers.
- Utilize basic graphic designs skills in Adobe create suite for the creation of marketing collateral.
- Serve as back-up support for membership associates in compiling dossiers for visits and calls with prospective members; other projects as assigned.
