Position Title – Marketing Analyst - Assistant Category Specialist
Address – Woonsocket, RI 02895
Pay – $35.16/hrs
Hours – Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST 40 hours)
Contract Type – Contract to possible hire
Vaccine Requirement – Yes
Responsibilities:
- The Marketing Analyst will contribute directly to sales and margin goals in assigned category
- The Marketing Analyst will analyze profit and loss information for the category, develop sales and margin projections, and assist Category Manager in P&L reconciliation
- The Marketing Analyst analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock; seek new, alternative foreign and domestic suppliers
- The Marketing Analyst will research customer product preferences, supplier prices and the competitive environment
Required Skills & Education:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a retail organization or in an analytical, merchandising, or buying position
- Minimum 2 years experience interpreting and recommending promotional strategies
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration or its equivalent
