What You’ll Do:
  • Manage technically challenging, complex, high-profile accounts.
  • Effectively interact directly with clients, both in person and in writing, and positively impact the client relationship at both the day-to-day service level, as well as relationship development level.
  • Demonstrate a consistent willingness to take the initiative and show a strong problem-solving aptitude.
  • Understand factual and technical information, as well as the implied meanings from others’
  • communication, whether verbal or non-verbal.
  • Make decisions using judgment that is consistent with the best interests of the client, and have those decisions and opinions accepted by the client and underwriters.
  • Must have the necessary organizational and technical skills to work with sophisticated and complex accounts as well as a high volume workload requiring a great deal of attention to detail, complexity, and ongoing contact with client, etc.
  • Ability to listen, exercise judgment, and motivate others to achieve a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrate strong, influential negotiation skills internally, in the marketplace, and with clients to effectively service accounts.
  • Ability to conduct client seminars and training.
  • Develop, analyze, and implement a competitive insurance program providing various alternatives for client consideration, working in conjunction with the Account Management Team.
  • Participation in industry and professional programs strongly recommended.
You Should Have::
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Math aptitude.
  • Computer skills.
  • Large, complex Commercial Lines account product knowledge. · State of residence Producer’s License
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum (10) years insurance experience
  • Seven (7) years retail agency and/or brokerage experience
  • Industry approved designation
