Job description

Kodak is looking for Lab Analysts to work on our Film Sensitizing Team.
You will provide analytical analyses in support of Rochester Film Sensitizing. Previous experience in liquid chromatography, KATT silver titration, UV-Vis, viscosity and particle sizing is preferred. Analyses are provided in a rapid-turnaround environment requiring multi-tasking and prioritization of work requests.
  • Position requires flexible work schedules.
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation and wet bench techniques are preferred.
  • Some darkroom conditions.
  • Strict adherence to division operating procedures regarding HSE, such as chemical verifications, additions of chemical, lifting procedures/polices and required PPE.
  • Individuals will be working with and exposed to various chemicals, some which may be hazardous, where PPE is prescribed and required to protect the body.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two-year college degree – science-related Associates Degree preferred
  • Dependable, maintain good attendance
  • Maintain a clean work area and operate in a safe manner at all times.
  • Detail orientated team player.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to express oneself clearly, read job related material, write effectively, and comprehend a variety of work requests.
  • Need to be able to function on a computer utilizing various databases and programs.
  • Some manufacturing or technical experience.
  • Analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Positions require walking, standing, and frequent lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, and occasional awkward positions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain industrial truck license at Kodak.
  • Good Manual dexterity.
  • Willing to work overtime or adjust work schedule for shutdowns and business needs.
  • Desire to continually improve oneself and processes.
