JOB DUTIES

All-Clad has a number of departments/cells within the plant that have specific jobs in creating and assembling the cookware from start to finish; here are some of the laborer jobs in each department/cell:

• Clad - assembling the sheet metal which is fed into a mill to bond the layers of sheets into one; conditioning the sheet metal to end up perfectly flat so the machines can stamp out discs ("blanks") out of the sheets.
• Forming - running hydraulic presses (to form the product); running hilite machines (to condition the lip/rim/interior of the product); inspecting the rough form of the product to identify any marks or defects and rework the pieces if needed.
• Finishing - operating large buffing machines to polish the cookware; dry hiliting the cookware pieces; feeding the pieces onto a conveyor that conditions the exterior of the product.
• Assembly - folding cardboard to create boxes; riveting on the handles of the pots/pans; inspecting and bagging up the cookware; packing and stacking the boxes onto skids in specific order.

Most of our labor jobs require minimal lifting and frequent manual handling of material and product. Not all of our laborers run machinery, but if so you will receive on-the-job training on proper and accurate set-ups/adjustments for the settings on the machinery.

HIRING NEEDS

We are currently hiring laborers for Swing Shift (Mon-Fri, one week working daylight 7am-3pm, one week working afternoon 3pm-11pm in an alternating weekly pattern). NOTE: when working Afternoon turn, the employee will receive a .30/hr differential.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Prior manufacturing production labor experience is preferred but NOT required.
• Must be available to work overtime which is occasional but mandatory; it is announced prior to the week that the overtime is scheduled (can be six 8-hour shifts or five 10-hour shifts; a typical overtime work week is a total of 48-50 hours).
• *Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, a one-hour physical test and a thorough criminal background check.*
