Manual Machinist Job Summary

We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team. In this position, you will help us create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a lathe, a drill press, a micrometer, and grinding machines. Our ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or has at least one year of manufacturing experience. Prior roles as a lathe operator or in another manual machining position is a plus.

Looking for Manual Machinists that can operate ANY or ALL of the Following:

• Lathes
• Mills (vertical and horizontal)
• VTLs
• Horizontal Boring Mills
• Surface Grinders
• ID/OD Grinders

Manual Machinist Duties and Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job
• Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components
• Operate your machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials
• Finish projects using manual tools
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
