Overview:
As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you will become part of a highly skilled revenue accounting team. You will play a key role in the success of the revenue team by building out automated reporting utilizing the company's data warehouse tools. This position will be responsible for bringing automation to our month-end close processes that will allow the team to bring timely and accurate revenue reporting for the business. The ideal candidate brings the foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including ASC 606, along with a desire to create meaningful change while utilizing best-in-class applications to achieve effective reporting.
Responsibilities:

  • Own timely and accurate reporting of key revenue data and quarter close processes and procedures
  • Improve current reporting and other processes through automation
  • Research key issues under ASC 606 to ensure accurate revenue recognition
  • Be a valuable business partner, working with Legal, Sales Ops, Finance, Order Management) to ensure fully executed agreements are properly booked and recognized in our systems, and in quarterly metrics
  • Work closely with business partners to streamline processes and improve efficiencies
  • Key contributor to revenue recognition policies and memos
  • Automate and Manage the standalone selling price analysis
  • Key participant in providing revenue-related training to other internal departments
  • Lead special Finance projects and ad hoc reporting requests; drive projects to successful completion

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems with an Accounting emphasis
  • Demonstrated experience in report building and automation
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 principles and US GAAP, preferably in the Software/SaaS Industry
  • Highly productive self-starter with very strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Strong accountability and detail oriented; prepares accurate and timely work product
  • Ability to work independently and thrive, and be a team player
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and messaging skills
  • Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment
  • Capable of working with cross functional teams
  • Understanding of global quote-to-cash business processes and best practices
  • Advanced Excel skills, Salesforce.com, and experience using NetSuite & ARM applications are a plus

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $115,000 - 125,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
