The Manager of Digital Potato Strategy is a key role within our North American Potato category and we are looking for a professional who will lead across two important facets of our team’s responsibilities. This person will develop strategic direction and implement of our digital agenda that stretches from the farm gate to finished products and will support expansion of our data lake and the development of a deep learning algorithm to enhance this value for farmers and consumers.
Providing the process and drive for results to build and maintain a robust productivity agenda over a strategic horizon is a second key component of this role. Leading cross functional sessions, managing projects, and delivering value for consumers will afford deep category knowledge, collaboration, and senior leader exposure.

Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial strategy related to digital initiatives in our potato value-chain
- Enhance the scope of our data lake by prudently adding relevant data sets
- Formalize our data ownership practices
- Collaborate with Potato buyers, growers, and manufacturing sites to maximize data compliance
- Deliver a deep learning algorithm related to potato production and handling that benefits both consumers and farmers
- Work cross-functionally as a project manager with all project teams to support Potato productivity agenda
- Lead productivity agenda and projects that will deliver across the strategic horizon
- Bachelor’s in Agriculture, Business, Logistics/Supply Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Work Experience:
- 6-8 Years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, or other relevant experience required.
Required Skills/Capabilities:
- Ideally with relevant Ag supply chain expertise
- Productivity and project management experience
- Data modeling, building data lakes, and development of algorithms to optimize their insights
- Ability to adapt and learn new technology quickly and build support aids for new users
- LSS Green or Black Belt certification
