Manager of Accounting - Full time

Location: Erie, PA, USA

Annual Salary Range (based on experience): $70K+

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA license required
• 5+ years of non-profit, single audit, and supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Knowledge of general ledger software, payroll software, and financial reporting software required
• Valid driver's license required

What you will be doing:

• Oversees monthly, quarterly and annual close process; including review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintains documentation of close process and cost allocation methodology.
• Prepares Statement of Cash Flow, KMI's and Executive Overview monthly.
• Responsible for development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures and the design and implementation of necessary internal controls.
• Oversees the annual audit process through workpaper management, preparation and guidance, oversees 401(k) audit and 990 preparation.
• Assists with review and preparation of various external reporting requirements.
• Oversees the completion and filing of client tax returns annually.
• Coordinates cash management activities including cash forecasting to ensure adequate cash flow.
• Review payroll returns and associated reconciliations.

The Manager of Accounting is responsible for the completion of all internal and external financial reporting. This position will supervise Accounting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable.
