Wesco’s Innovation Center brings together highly-tailored technology, product options and industry expertise so our customers can design and test solutions before implementation. In the Center, customers will interact with live demos, connect with Wesco technical subject matter experts and find answers to critical questions about projects. The entire visit experience is tailored to our customers and their specific needs.

As a Manager - Marketing, you will coordinate personalized visit experiences to strengthen customer relationships and enable salespeople and subject matter experts to showcase Wesco offerings in the Innovation Center.

Responsibilities:

• The Innovation Center Manager will be required to customize every aspect of the visit experience from pre- to post-visit.
• Manage booking tool, customer portal, agenda builder, content management platform, speaker profiles, user accounts and access.
• Develop agenda, customize content, coordinate schedules with sales team, speakers and host.
• Ensure speakers are selected based on the visitor’s needs, questions, and level of expertise.
• Brief speakers on agenda, customer profile and expectations. Schedule dry run with presenters and sales team.
• Lead all internal and external communications regarding visit details via calendar invitations, email correspondence and customer portal.
• Facilitate each visit: order F&B, prepare meeting space and A/V requirements, set-up presentations and digital media content, and manage logistics (set-up, clean-up).
• Welcome visitors to center, introduce attendees and speakers, provide brief overview of company, center and housekeeping notes.
• Capture customer insights, opportunities and action items, and deliver feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure scheduled programs are completed on time and on budget and communicate results, best practices, and successes. Identify areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant industry preferred.
• 4 to 5 years required, 6 years preferred of product, solution or field marketing experience, preferably in Fortune 500 company.
• Event planning, project management, or executive admin experience preferred
• Ability to work from the Innovation Center 5 days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to internal and external groups.
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with a customer-centric focus and commitment to quality.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail required
• Able to spot new and evaluate existing business opportunities, including the ability to ask good questions, look beyond the obvious, and see the "big picture."
• Strong creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and entrepreneurial drive; able to work with autonomy and self-direction.
• Able to influence others through effective negotiation techniques and strong interpersonal skills, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
