This is a 2nd Shift position. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-1:30am. Additional hours as needed. This position is located at our Plant on Route 30 in Gettysburg. Hourly wage starts at $23.60 and is based on experience.

Performs various mechanical duties on machines and equipment needed for production.

Major Functions and Scope:

• Performs maintenance of powered industrial trucks, including mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Maintains historical service records on powered industrial trucks.
• Makes necessary adjustments to machines and equipment for proper operation.
• Performs light welding and plumbing repairs.
• Makes minor electrical machinery and equipment repairs.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Informs supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 2 or more years industrial maintenance experience

Competencies:

• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to read and understand procedures in English.
• Ability to test motors and electrical circuits using a voltmeter and amp meter.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
