Job Description: Maintenance Technician

Report To: Facilities Maintenance Manager

Position Summary:

This person will be responsible for carrying out and performing all machine/facilities work orders as well as cross training. Participates and is actively involved in the production improvement group.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Follow prescribed safety rules & regulations.

· Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.

· Ability to work individually and as a team member.

· Fabricate and debug a wide range of manufacturing equipment.

· Diagnose and solve problems on equipment designed and build by NHI as well as commercially purchased machines.

· Rebuild old machines as required

· Provide maintenance troubleshooting.

· Diagnose equipment problems and solve in a timely manner.

· Provide the mechanical expertise necessary to minimize production downtime due to equipment failures.

· Improve productivity through maintenance of machinery.

· Maintain tooling and fixtures as needed to support production.

· Respond to any equipment issues or breakdowns in a timely manner.

· Other duties as assigned or required

Skills & Abilities:

· Prior PM experience

· Working knowledge of electricity

· Working knowledge of hydraulic systems

· Working knowledge of pneumatics

· Troubleshooting skills

· Able to read drawings and schematics

· Machining experience a plus

Education & Experience:

· 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.15 - $30.03 per hour
